The Vision

Rather than centering the yard around a pool, the Bergamo Way project focused on creating a complete outdoor living room experience. The final design layers a custom pergola, fireplace and TV feature wall, outdoor kitchen, and structured lounge zones into one polished backyard composition.

Lighting, paving, and vertical architectural elements do much of the heavy lifting here, giving the project a finished evening presence as well as strong daytime usability. The result is a backyard built around comfort, hosting, and year-round livability in Northridge.

Technical Challenges & Solutions

Amenity Packing: Fitting a pergola, fireplace wall, outdoor kitchen, and lounge seating into one backyard required disciplined space planning so the project would feel inviting instead of overbuilt.
Architectural Cohesion: Because the design relies on built features more than water, the proportions, cladding, lighting, and hardscape lines all had to work together to give the yard a premium finished look.
